Sidebar and Command Palette

Move the pointer to the left edge of an ordinary HTTP/HTTPS page. Hover reveals an overlay; pinning reserves page space. The address area and plus buttons open the Command Palette. Search prefixes: @ tabs, # bookmarks, ! history, > commands.

Nested folders and recovery

Create folders and subfolders from the sidebar or Command Palette. Drag tabs or complete folder subtrees to move them; use the top or bottom of a row to reorder siblings. Empty folders stay without placeholder tabs. Chrome shows only the root as a native tab group; nested levels are managed locally by MyArc.

Search a folder name or its full path in the Command Palette. On a Chrome session restore, MyArc reconnects restored tabs with saved folders. It does not reopen closed pages. If a window is not restored, use Sidebar Menu → Recover Saved Folders to recover its empty folder structure.

Keyboard shortcuts

Assign Open MyArc Command Bar to Command+T on Mac or Ctrl+T elsewhere. Assign Copy Current URL to Command+Shift+C or Ctrl+Shift+C. Chrome may leave these unassigned because of built-in conflicts; set them once at chrome://extensions/shortcuts. Command/Ctrl+Shift+K is an alternate palette shortcut, and Command/Ctrl+Shift+Y toggles the sidebar.

Suggestions and protected pages

Suggestions are Off by default and can be enabled or disabled in MyArc Settings. The selected suggestion provider does not replace Chrome’s default search engine. Chrome internal pages, the Web Store, the built-in PDF viewer and other extension pages cannot show an injected drawer. Use the toolbar popup there. Other extensions open settings or management pages, not their native toolbar popups. MyArc is independent and is not affiliated with Arc or The Browser Company.

Auto-archive and Keep

Temporary tabs are automatically archived after 12 unused hours by default. Settings offers 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or Off. Every folder and Keep tab is protected. Drag into Keep to pin a tab, or back to Temporary to restart its timer. Reopen archived URLs from Archived Tabs in Settings within 30 days; only the latest 500 are retained. Unsaved page contents are not restored. Existing tabs receive a full waiting period when automatic archiving starts or is re-enabled.
